The AGC of Greater Milwaukee Labor Relations Committee provides leadership and strategic oversight on all union contractor labor matters, serving as the primary liaison between AGC-GM member firms and organized labor. The Committee is responsible for appointing qualified industry representatives to local collective bargaining negotiating teams, as well as designating members to serve on Labor-Management Councils and jointly administered Trust Funds. It plays a critical role in addressing challenges and resolving issues arising from labor disputes, while proactively managing relationships with key signatory unions and engaging with other labor organizations as needed. Through these efforts, the Committee helps ensure stable labor relations, fair agreements, and a productive environment for the commercial construction industry.
