Record Numbers Attending AGC Trainings

SHARE

Over the last month the AGC has been seeing incredible member participation at our classes and training sessions. We are pleased to say that with only a month into the fall semester we’ve been able to train over 100 construction professionals. We love seeing this amount of participation from our members and their commitment to the professional development of their employees.

Our AGC Milwaukee offices have been host to a number of different classes this semester like the Supervisory Training Program (STP), Lean Construction and Opioid Abuse in Construction. One class we were especially proud of was the Construction Supervision Fundamentals (CSF) program. The AGC of America chose us, AGC-GM, to be the first to host this inaugural program. The CSF program provided front-line management a path to develop the knowledge and skills to boost communication, teamwork and operational competence to improve organizational project performance.

Along with our office hosting a number of great classes and trainings, our Safety Staff have been kept very busy, traveling around Southeastern Wisconsin leading a number of different classes including:

• STP-2
• OSHA 30 Hour
• First Aid/CPR
• Flagger Training
• OSHA 10 Hour for Mindful Staffing
• Rough Terrain Forklift Operator Certification
• OSHA Inspection Protocol
• Fire Extinguisher Training
