AGC Members,
It is with heavy heart that we received word from the leadership of JP Cullen that President, Ron Becher, passed away this past month. As many of you know, Ron served on the Board of AGC-GM from 2010 to 2014 , and as Board President in 2013. In his tenure on the AGC-GM Board, Ron provided stalwart leadership and a sincere commitment to excellence.
Ron joined the team at JP Cullen 19 years ago after working for 18 years at General Motors. Ron made his mark immediately by quickly growing the newly created Industrial Division. Under his leadership, the Industrial Division was the fastest growing market segment for JP Cullen. In 2007 he took over the Janesville Division and in 2013 he was the first non-family member to be named president in the more than 120-year history of JP Cullen.
Most importantly, Ron is remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend to many, and it is with that that we extend our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers to his family and the team at JP Cullen.
