Davis-Bacon Act
Davis-Bacon Act of 1931 is a United States federal law that establishes the requirements for paying the local prevailing wages on public work projects. It applies to contractors and subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts for the construction, alteration or repair (including painting and decorating) of public buildings or public works.

Worker’s Comp Rates
The State of Wisconsin normally publishes their current worker’s compensation rates on an annual basis through the Wisconsin Workers Compensation Rating Advisory Committee. This Committee is comprised of many representatives from the Insurance Industry as well as two individuals who represent Wisconsin employers. Currently, our safety director, Dan Burazin, is one of the two employer representatives on this important Committee. You can get the current rates by going to the WCRB’s website, but we have separated the most common construction-related codes out of their massive list and include them here. If you don’t see your code posted here, please contact Dan Burazin at dburazin@agc-gm.org.

Rent a Safety Director
Let us give you a competitive edge!

Our safety team will provide comprehensive inspections in a thorough, cost effective manner. Our services can be utilized as much or as little as you require, depending on your needs.
The Rent-a-Safety Director can also assist area contractors in working through the OSHA process. If you are confronted with an OSHA issue or violation, the AGC of Greater Milwaukee Rent-a-Safety Director will assist you during the initial inspection, and if a citation is issued, he or she will provide advocacy assistance at the OSHA informal conference.
